MERIDIEM - THE RISE

Most leaders never grew up.
Their teams pay for it every day.

The Rise is forty days for anyone who leads people. Ten seats. Not a management course. The work underneath it.

Small enough that no one can hide, including themselves.

January 12 to February 20, 2027 · 6:30am Pacific · 60 minutes daily

"You spend eight hours a day inside the consequences of work someone else never did."

Why this exists

You have worked with or for at least one of them.

The one who could not hear feedback. The one who made every meeting about themselves. The one whose mood set the temperature for forty people. The one who got promoted for being excellent at something that had nothing to do with leading.

I have spent thirty years inside corporate technology, leading teams at ADT, Twitter, Trustwave, and a company I founded myself. The pattern does not change. Brilliant people are handed responsibility for other human beings with no preparation, and they lead the way they were led.

Here is the uncomfortable part. Everyone reading this has been that person to somebody.

What this actually is

Frameworks do not survive contact with an unfinished person.

Most leadership programs teach delegation models, feedback formulas, and meeting structures. None of it holds when the leader has not done the work underneath.

You cannot delegate if you need to be needed. You cannot receive feedback if you are still defending a child. You cannot hold a room if you are the least regulated person in it.

The Rise is forty days on the pattern underneath the leadership. The unwinding of what you brought to work without ever knowing you brought it.

The daily session

Sixty minutes, every morning, before the day takes you. Teaching, excavation, and the work of the same ten people getting honest in front of each other.

Individuation

The five stages of growing up, and where yours stopped. This is the spine of the program and the reason it works when management training does not.

The water you swim in

Dominance hierarchy. Collusion. Victim culture. Responsibility versus authority. The terrain of corporate life, named plainly, so you stop mistaking it for weather.

Adult-to-adult

Most workplace conflict is a parent talking to a child. You will learn to recognize it in the room and stop participating.

Your upper limits

The ceiling is not external. Where you contract, what you snap back from, and how to expand capacity on purpose.

  • You were promoted for being excellent at your craft

  • You have been leading for years and suspect you are repeating something

  • You keep having the same conflict with different people

  • You founded the company and now have to run it

  • You do not want to become the leader you had in the past

WHO IS THIS FOR

The title is not the qualifier.
The willingness is.

This is for you if

You lead people, or you aspire to

This is not for you if

You are looking for tactics

  • You want frameworks without the personal work

  • You believe the problem is your boss, your team, or your company

  • You cannot protect one hour a day for forty days

  • You want to observe rather than participate

THE COMMITMENT

Forty consecutive days.
Every one of them.

Sixty minutes at 6:30am Pacific, before the day starts making demands. Early, deliberately. It is the only hour most leaders actually control.

If you cannot protect an hour a day for yourself, that is the first thing we are going to look at.

Sessions are recorded. Miss up to five and stay with your cohort. Beyond five, you roll to the next cohort at no additional cost. The room depends on the same ten people showing up.

WHO IS LEADING THIS

Thirty years watching this happen from the inside.

Thirty years inside corporate technology. Design and product organizations at ADT, Trustwave, and Twitter. A digital health company co-founded and run, $3.5 million raised. Seventeen years running my own firm. Serving customers across forty-two countries, under private equity ownership, with real revenue on the line.

Across all of it, the same thing kept happening.

Brilliant people were handed responsibility for other human beings with no preparation whatsoever. They were promoted for being excellent at something that had nothing to do with leading. And then they led the only way they knew, which was the way they had been led.

Teams lost good people because of one person's unexamined pattern. Companies made expensive decisions because nobody in the room could say the true thing. Executives who had never once looked at themselves held authority over hundreds of lives.

That last one was me, for a while. Not a rhetorical move. It is the reason this program exists.

Eventually it stopped looking like a training problem. Frameworks were never the missing piece. The missing piece was that most people in leadership had never finished growing up, and no one had ever asked them to.

The Rise is the program I wish someone had put me through at thirty-two.
